As this ship is accessible throughout and is linked with all our Egypt tours, its remarkably suitable for everyone, beit families, couples, elderly couples or young friends.
The ship is located on the Nile river in Egypt and sails between Cairo, Komombo, Luxor and Aswan and additional accessible excursions are available along the way. Additional nights in Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada are also available.
Excursions are operated by adapted minivans, however, due to the historic sites the areas are sometimes not fully accessible and you must be aware of uneven ground. In addition, one or two of the ports may have up to 9 steps leading to the ships entrance, please do discuss all your accessibility needs and requirements at the time of enquiry as we do have fully trained staff at the ports to assist with carrying of passengers and wheelchairs, although large heavy electrical wheelchairs may not be accepted onboard due to manual lifting regulations.
Equipment is available to hire, however large electrical equipment such as scooters or electric wheelchairs may not be available in all resorts, so please do discuss your equipment needs at the time of enquiry.
The elegant twin adapted cabins are spacious and offer an ensuite bathroom with level entry shower with grab rails and a pull down seat and also grab rails either side of the toilet. The ship itself is very charming and offers standard cabins and suites aswell. All cabins provide TV, internet, minibar and hairdryer.
The MS Amarco offers an excellent 5 star dining room and BBQ grill, a nightclub with dance floor, a juice bar, the main bar, a pool bar and swimming pool on top deck with sun deck area, hair dressers, lounge, card room and for those relaxing moments a sauna, steam room and gymnasium.
The ship is based on a full board option so everyone can enjoy the 5 star dining n the mian restaurant. there is also a BBQ grill and various bars to choose from.

Flying time from UK to Cairo / Luxor airport is approx 5 hours. Transfer times from the airport in resort to the hotel / ship is approx 30 minutes but can vary for each resort.
