Prior to Safari: On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by your guide who will transfer you in an adapted vehicle to your accommodation for your first nights stay prior to your safari.
Day 1:
From Johannesburg, this days journey takes us east through the rolling hills of the Highveld, and we lunch en route to the Kruger National Park. Entering from the South, our first nights stop is at Crocodile Bridge.
Days 2, 3 and 4:
We spend the next three days in the Kruger National Park. This two million-hectare haven is home to the Big Five and many other species of animal, bird and plant life. Kruger Park is a premier local and international Game Park, featuring, apart from its excellent camps, wonderful views and tranquil settings.
Days 5 and 6:
After breakfast and a mornings game drive we head to a magnificent Private Game Reserve, world renowned for reintroducing animals to the wild and its Lion breeding project where we spend both nights. You can get to know and encounter up close Lion and baby elephant and touch a wild cheetah at this stunning lodge. Dinner is served in a traditional Boma around a blazing fire.
Day 7:
Our next day is spent exploring the wonderful scenery that this region has to offer with stops including the Blyde River Canyon with its magnificent viewpoint - Gods Window. We continue through this mountain range of endless pine tree forests and waterfalls to Pilgrims Rest, founded in 1873, an old mining town with its original shops and boundaries, which have been restored. We lunch en route at one of the picnic spots. Our last nights stop is at Dullstroom, a beautiful highland village with its attractive stone structure buildings amongst historic beech and elm trees, streams and lakes filled with Trout. Here you have the option to enjoy a night out eating in one of the exciting restaurants (optional cost).
