Just a minutes drive downhill brings you into the traditional Spanish town of Moraira. Moraira has no high-rise buildings or package-holiday hotels but can offer a good choice of restaurants, cafes and bars.
Good access in and around the villa and the town is very accessible with lowered pavements and pedestrian areas.
Commode shower chairs, hoists, scooters and other mobility equipment is available for rent. Please make these arrangements through our Travel Advisors at time of booking your holiday as your required equipment may not be available in all resorts.
The villa has five large bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, one of which has its own private balcony overlooking the pool area as well as having great views of the sea. The fourth bedroom, being a family room, contains a king size bed with bunk beds, the fifth contains two single beds. These bedrooms share a bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a wheel-in shower with seat and WC with grab rails.
A large patio area surrounds the 8mx4m heated swimming pool, which has a hoist as well as steps which are large enough for users to sit on. A stair-lift provides access to the patio area with pool table, and a chair-lift provides access to the lower floor bedrooms, second patio area and jacuzzi. There is also a hot tub spa as well as two outdoor showers. There is a large lounge/dining room with television and video player.
The villa is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday with the fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher and microwave.
A drive along the coast will provide you with an even greater range of restaurants and bars or you can continue down to Calpe, Altea or Benidorm for a change of scenery. The main beach Playa la Ampolla is a good-size and gently shelving making it safe for children. There is another smaller beach at El Portet with soft sand and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
